Silvia Weidenbach is an award-winning jeweller, who fuses the traditional with the contemporary. She has pioneered the use of 3D printing and haptic devices, to make jewellery that could not be created using conventional techniques. She combines these groundbreaking methods with the best of the past, to create an exuberant, hybrid union. She explores form, complexity and colour to develop an entirely new aesthetic for jewellery in the 21st Century. The “Analogue Digital Wonder-lab” is an immersive experience allowing the visitor to see both finished work and test pieces that explore different 3D printing samples and materials, allowing a true understanding of this innovative jewellers important work. For Tresor Silvia creates a new series of brooches, using Baroque pearls and precious stones sourced in Switzerland. This highlights one of the ambitions of the fair; to forge connections that enable gifted contemporary creators make new and challenging work. “The Analogue Digital Wonder-lab” is presented by Voxelworld
