Park (Habitat)
«My objects are everyday objects – vases, bowls and plates – made of porcelain. They are individually shaped with different techniques and then sanded or glazed. Some objects are worked with a special surface technique with pigments or glazes, others are made from specially prepared porcelain body.
The study of symbolism of landscape emerged from an examination of the history of table culture. The symbolic-narrative quality of a Rococo-Table Landscapes is translated into the ornaments of contemporary architecture with the objects. The vessel remains classic: foot, body, lip and opening. The surfaces are reminiscent of building materials such as artificial stone, marble and asphalt. Vessel, and the cultivated environment – both accommodated. The presented objects open the space of association of the human habitat.» – Laurin Schaub
